The All Blacks and the Black Bay Chrono

Are you in the midst of Rugby season fever?

Causing a stir in the watch world during this Rugby World Cup, is the Tudor’s new Black Bay Chrono.
Tudor has equipped all referees of the Rugby World Cup with a Black Bay Chrono in steel but also released this very special blacked out version. A limited edition, the 41mm steel all black version was designed to match the famous All Blacks jerseys – TUDOR has been supporting the New Zealand Team since 2017.

The Black Bay Chrono Dark model features a satin-brushed steel bracelet with a matt effect, finished with a black PVD-treated coating. The black is applied via a  thin-film technology ‘PVD”; originally developed by NASA for its space programmes.

Cleverly limited to 1,181 pieces – matching the number of players that have served in New Zealands National Rugby Team since its creation in 1903. Tudor tell us the series will grow over the coming years, as new players join the ranks.  There is an intricate special engraving on the case back, indicating the serial number of each timepiece.
